The Coalition of Immokalee Workers, a group of Mexican, Guatemalan, and Haitian tomato pickers in South Florida, have made some of the greatest gains in workers rights in the farmworker industry. This 29-minute documentary follows them through their first few years of existence–forming in opposition to violent farm bosses, campaigning for a pay raise from Taco Bell, and building a coalition of supporters than continues to grow to this day.
This Documentary, co-Produced by Shannon Young, aired on Free Speech Radio News in May of 2005.
